Lost my best friend bcz i love her and expressed myself in front f her. HELP?

I was talking to my schoolfriend fr last 3 yrs on cal. She is my best buddy and she also considers me the same. She used to share all her personal talks with me. She never had a BF. She wished to be in some relation now. I like her like anything, But was afaraid ki if i express my feelings she might be hurt. but at the last i expresses myself that i like u and i want to go ahead to next level of relationship, i askd fr marriage. But now sh is not talking to me fr last 2 daz.. she is neither picking my call. she didnt replied anything. I am broken like anything and m missing her like hell. In the proces f geting mre i lost my best buddy. Plz teme why she is not talking. if she felt bad thn she shud hve abused me or somehting but being quiet is not sloving any purpose. Wht shud i do??? we are from india. So kindly give ur answers according ot tht becz there is lot of difference in the cultures ..
