Should I dump him?

My financee is working out of the country, he gets 3 R&R breaks a year. We are suppose to get married in April. He is taking his R&R in Germany this month, and told me if he gets bored on his vacation, he'll come home and see me. I have been waiting faithfully on him. This will be my 3rd Christmas alone. He even let my daughter, who he claims to love as his own, think he was coming home to see her. In fairness he didn't tell her positively he was coming. But I want to give him back his engagement ring. I am feeling pretty stupid for wasting over 2 years of my life.
