Hey people help me ? am I abnormal or do I have psychic ailment ? what is your opinion on this.?

I am now a boy of 17 and I am doing my degree first year . Once in my childhood I got a toy of an elephant which is in sitting posture I got this toy on my 6th birthday . Since then I donno what happened to me I started woeshipping that toy as lord ganesha and I perform poojas and I sing hymns in devotion of that toy . my parents think think That even I am 17 I havent lost my childishness and My worship for that toy is somewhat strange or abnormal .So people tell me that am I abnormal And is my worship useless.
