What do you think about Indiana Hoosiers bowl chances?

I am a die hard Hoosier fan, but I can't justify Indiana going to a bowl ahead of teams like Northwestern and Michigan State this season seeing how they lost to both. (This is based on them losing to Purdue, which except for a defensive miracle will happen). Do you agree or do you think that since it's been 13 years since they went to a bowl that the Big Ten might give them extra consideration come bowl selection time?
