Is it possible for a 16 year old to get a job as a camp counselor in France (speaks enough to get by...)?

Alternatively do you think I could survive in just a regular old camp that actual French teenagers go to? I'm somewhat wary of 'French Camps' for English/international students after my friend went to one (and had a good time) but didn't really learn any french. I really want to be forced to learn it (my other friend is doing an exchange in Spain for 3 months) - do you think this is possible?
